Grit & Salt Bins are manufactured from yellow medium density durable polyethylene with a strong plastic base. Stackable grit & salt bins will not discolour or deteriorate through long term exposure to the elements. These stackable grit & salt bins are supplied with or without salt essential for the preparation of winter and are ideal for storing grit, salt or sand. The use of the built-in Forklift pockets moulded in the base facilitates easy movement when loading or stacking empty when not in use for space-saving storage, Can also be handled with slings.

Available in two bin izes 200 Litre (7 Cu Ft) or 350 Litre (12,4 Cu Ft). Fitted with a hinged lid which protects the contents from the elements. Operating temperature resistant range:-20 to +60C.

If you require a lockable grit bin we can supply 2 x Hasp and Staples fittings suitable for padlocks which can be ordered as an accessory but must be ordered with grit bin as factory fitted. (padlocks not supplied) Each grit bin is embossed with GRIT graphic as standard. Plastic scoop is also available but only if ordered with Grit Bin.
