Heavy Duty Grit & Salt Bins are manufactured from tough medium density polyethylene with a strong plastic base. Heavy Duty grit & salt bins will not discolour or deteriorate through long term exposure to the elements.

These heavy-duty grit & salt bins are fitted with a hasp and staple suitable for locking with a padlock and supplied with or without Salt and are essential for the preparation of winter and are ideal for storing grit, salt or sand. The moulded forklift pockets facilitate easy movement.

Grit salt bins are available in two sizes 200 Litre capacity (7 Cu Ft) or 400 Litre capacity (14 Cu Ft). Each grit bin is embossed with GRIT graphic as standard
Standard colours are Yellow and Forest Green or there is also an Eco friendly grit bin available at a lower price and manufactured from Black recycled plastic. Blue and Red Grit Bins are also available but on a longer delivery time.

200 Litres bin is fitted with one hasp & staple (padlock not included)
400 Litres bin is fitted with two hasp & staple (padlocks not included) and also has fork lift pockets moulded in base for easy movement

Each grit bin has a hinged lid which protects contents from the elements and the operating temperature range:-20 to +60C.
Plastic scoop is also available but only if ordered with Grit Bin.
